Chipotle Flourless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients:
- 10 oz semisweet chocolate
- 7 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 5 large eggs
- 1 C sugar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp chipotle chili powder
- pinch of cayenne
- pinch of salt
Preheat the oven to 350.
Chop the chocolate and melt the chocolate and butter together. Whisk together the eggs and sugar, then slowly whisk the melted chocolate in - take care not to scramble the eggs. Add the spices and salt.
Pour into a buttered 9" pie pan, and bake until a toothpick comes out clean (22-25 minutes). Allow to cool in the pan.
From Simply Recipes, although that link is dead - archive link. That recipe suggests dusting with powdered sugar, which works fine but isn't really necessary. It also uses a springform pan, which is better if you want a more sliceable cake.
